Bronzed Birds3 (20 ounce) Cornish game hens
1 clove garlic
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup bourbon
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted Place game hens in shallow baking pan. Crush garlic with salt, then combine with pepper, honey, bourbon and melted butter. Brush hens with butter mixture and bake at 350 degrees F for 35 to 40 minutes, basting frequently with remaining butter mixture.
